If you want to enjoy some of the best views, go up to Taraw Cliff. It’s something different to do in El Nido and that you shouldn’t miss. From here you can see from another perspective the beauty of this wonderful place. To climb it is mandatory to hire a guide and the ascent can be a bit tiring, but surely the views make it worthwhile. It is a spectacular place and we recommend that you visit it and get carried away by such impressive views.
If you fancy a relaxed plan, you can approach the Waterfalls, spectacular waterfalls that are on the way to Nacpan beach. The walk is magical and also crosses 9 rivers to get there. From the waterfalls you can jump into its crystal clear waters. You will be hypnotized by the beauty of these waterfalls, it is one of the places you can not miss when you come to the Philippines.
The Great Lagoon is really beautiful, like a green water pool surrounded by mountains and vegetation. The diving is incredible and in addition to the great variety of goldfish, you can also see orange and blue clams. You will be paralyzed and speechless while navigating its crystalline waters, an incredible beauty and far from looking like something real … The different shades of green along with its rock make this place one of the most beautiful places in the world.
One of the stops that we also recommend, is to visit the Sanctuary of Matinloc Island, a place surrounded by stories and mysteries that was long since abandoned. It is unknown exactly what was the reason that led to its abandonment but the place continues to receive a good number of visitors daily for its mysticism and charm. The sanctuary can be reached in 2 ways, using its small port (place where most boats stop) or through a small beach that leads to what was once a place of worship with several buildings around the main altar.
Within El Nido, there is Corong Corong Beach, known for its tranquility and its beautiful sunsets, for that calm and peace that it gives off. This fabulous beach, on the island of Coron, is one of the most beautiful in the Philippines. In it you will find the landscapes in which a large amount of blue and turquoise colors contrast with the dark tone of the huge rock walls typical of Palawan. In it you can explore its lakes and beaches, they will be the great reason for your visit in Corón.
There are many routes in Kayak that you can do through El Nido, among others we recommend this: Seven Commandos beach continuing along Papaya beach, the latter is usually deserted, from here, you can continue to the small and lonely Lapus Lapus beach, where to take a spectacular bath and finish at Corong Corong beach. This route is spectacular and you can’t miss it.
Marimegmeg Beach is one of the fantastic places in El Nido, Palawan, not to be missed. It is a dream beach just 5 minutes from El Nido, with an impressive golden sand, towering palm trees inclined towards the sea and a spectacular bay, which make up the perfect postcard.
